A bistro, a concept store and an atelier behind the walls of a restored soap factory of the 1920s.

The structure was built in 1920 and managed by the family Ortner-Kikinger until the early 70s as a successful soapfactory. Afterwards, the historic buidling stood empty for some time. In 2015, the first talks about the renovation began with the architect Werner Tscholl (winner “premio architetto Italiano 2016“ ). The main focus during the entire construction phase was to protect the identity of the aged soap factory.
In the architectural sense, this is the special feature of today‘s IM KULT - the newly created is accompanied by the historic industrial charm... this combination creates a unique flair.

ATELIER EVENTS
The primary task of our Atelier is to promote young cultural diversity. There is space for works of art of any kind and form - whether painting or handicraft, literature or film - the studio is a limitless space in which creativity unfolds freely.
YOUR EVENT
The Atelier IM KULT offers space for organized events and exhibitions as well as for private celebrations and events. The 125 m2 area can be used in many ways and thus adapts to your personal wishes.
If necessary, our bistro will be happy to provide you with tasty, light food during your event.
